*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Are a lot of people jumping on the band wagon and intentionally looking to find flaws rather then try and enjoy the game ? It seems 50/50 in here with people enjoying the game (bugs aside) and others just focusing on the flaws
I think so. Someone like me isn't that fussed with bugs etc (as long as they are not game breaking) and I have seen my fair share but I tend to see and forget instead of focusing on the bugs alone. Each to their own though and some are fairly picky and I can't blame them for a AAA game at £50

Nothing technical for me but just hasn't grabbed me at all this game. Played like 4 hours last weekend and not touched it since....

Looks lovely but just seems a bit "linear" in terms of storyline.

Have you even really started the main story at 4 hours in ? i was 10 hours in before i met keanu and thats when the actual story starts to happen and takes hold of you the mission before that its great and sets the story up nicely

Yeah.

I will give CDPR as pass on the poor launch, they are still much better than the likes of EA and Ubisoft imo. I look forward to buying their next title :D

Looks amazing on yoru system

Honestly my expectations of how it would look/run dropped a bit after some of those leaked review numbers got out before release but now that I've sussed the most ideal settings, and basically sacked off RTX settings and only using DLSS balanced/quality - The visuals are absolutely excellent and so is performance for this type of game in general. The frame drops here and there are clearly bugs as well as the other glitches so am fairly confident these will be fixed in the next couple of big patches because CDPR's rep hangs in the balance currently.

You can bet that this drama has meant the majority of people will never pre-order one of their games again or get hyped up until release day.

2077 like I said earlier is a great game with characters and stories you want to immerse in but the bugs just let it down for many.

DLSS the new SGSSAA?

seems to kill shimmering in the game.

At 3440x1440 I have found very little difference between DLSS quality and DLSS PBalanced, I guess I would see a difference in screenshots though but in motion both look really good with Balanced yielding a higehr lowest fps in busier areas.

The side missions are very involved and not just a case of 'go to A and done' and some real involvement has been put into them. I am doing all the side missions now and staying off the main, as I want to get as much in as possible on this play through.

After nearly 82 hours, I've just had my first incident of a man standing up through the roof of my car. He appeared for almost 2 seconds and completely ruined the game for me. Uninstalling and asking for a refund

Im wanting this game but im going to leave it 6 months..Iv had all these bug problems before when MS flight sim came out and today its not to bad at all
It'll hopefully be a far better game for everyone in a few months, at the moment there doesn't appear to be any explanation as to why some of us are experiencing so few bugs and others so many.

Thats probably the biggest (and most likely toughest) question, why some are seeing the bugs and others arent. Even Cohh, who adores the game and stars in it, says that he has encountered a lot of bugs, that question of why some are getting bugs and others arent is the mystery. For example, you've done 82 hours and only just had someone clip through an object, I was very early in the game when Jackie clipped through an elevator door and an npc's mobile phone outside my apartment just hung in the air after the npc had walked away and was only a few hours into the game when a car I was in clipped through a solid wall and was probably 7 or 8 hours in when the npc I was talking to for a quest just vanished as I was talking to him (turns out he had fallen through the ground). None of which are game breaking by any means but it does pose the question of why I encountered stuff like that and you didnt for 81 hours.

Wont mention the cops spawning into enclosed rooms etc as thats not really a bug, its a choice of design/implementation.

I expect they will fix all of these bugs but it might take them a few patches to cover them all due to the inconsistent nature of them you mention.

Enjoying it however it’s no way near the hype. Did not get that same amount of Wow factor that I got from RDR2, and that was on Xbox.

Being playing it last few days and loving it so far , end off the day the game was allways going to fall hard , as was too hyped up to start with ....
