Cyborg R.A.T 3 NEED SOME FEEDBACK!

I hated mine. The feet were just hideously bad at sliding on my Steelseries QCK+ mousemat. It also broke after about 5 months with little to no use since I replaced it. Would recommend a logitech g400/g500 instead.

I have the R.A.T 9 (wireless one) and absolutely love it. Only down side for me was battery life, which obviously won't effect you.

Some people mention issues with the laser sensor, but I think this depends on the surface you use, and the way you use/hold the mouse. I didn't suffer from this problem. I've had mine for about 13-14 months, and it's lasted very well so far.

My friend has the 3 and I have the 7. His is about 2 years old and hasnt missed a beat, mines about 4 months old and its perfect.

Make sure you get a surface to use it with as I noticed a conventional desk will scratch the hell out of the feet causing excess friction and scratching.

Yeah anything will do, as long as it isnt on a plain desk surface.

I personally use the Razer goliath[sp] speed surface and its the best Ive had to date (for its price anyway). The Boogie pad is more of a gimmic, good mat, but too large and thin to do anything realistic with.

Tried a friends its very good but only on the mat he has the desk doesnt seem to like it. I would recommend it, i bought a cyborg v1 mouse after trying it and ive put it through some hell and it works like the day i got it

I love my Boogie Pad XL and would happily buy another one :p I use the Logitech G9x mouse and love it.

I bought a Cyborg RAT 3 out of PC world, all of a suddenly its stopped working properly, the mouse moves uneven and doesent respond in time. This is on a Steel Series mouse pad and also on my desk, a piece of paper or cardboard....all the same, it also doesent work on any other surface such as my finger or fabrics.

Does this on both my pc's and laptop. Plugged in my old mouse and it works fine.

Tech support reckon its driver issues but its not, its been running fine for 4 month with same drivers.

Its never been dropped or damaged in anyway.

Would not recommend it.

Had mine 6 months and love it. Came with a free mat and its just the right size. The 2 thumb buttons are an added bonus. WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND IT.
At the end of the day, each to their own.

I've got a RAT 5. got it at xmas and i love it, does everything i want it to. get loads of profiles pre set off the saitek site. plus i think they look cool as and i like the adjustable weights and 4 step DPI adjust on tap :D

*update*

Infact I just plugged it back in to check it, its just not moving the cursor on any surface anymore. This is on 3 seperate machines.

Have no idea what has happened to it :(

I have a R.A.T 5, dont get me wrong, its a nice mouse, i've had it for almost 6 months now, i really want to love it, i mean its so full of features, adjustable and it looks so good, however dispite almost 6 months of trying to get on with it i have finally had to accept defeat...
i just cant get comfortable with it, i dont have the biggest hands, and the back of the mouse just dosnt sit nice in my hand, its too high/ends too abruptly, the rest of the mouse is comfortable, but i just cant get over the back of it.

today i finally called it quits, going back to what i know ordered a logitech G500, looking at the specs this seems to be the G5's replacement(whenever that happened) i got on well with the original G5 so hopefully there wont be much difference in its successor.
