Afternoon,

I moved further out of town last week, part of which I now commute 8 miles via bike, I have wet weather gear and I was mostly dry this morning upon arriving into work. My feet however were soaked! Apart from wrapping plastic bags around my feet, is there a solution?

Wear weather proof shoes, keep work shoes in bag/rugsack. I find wet trousers dry faily quicky in my office but shoes/socks takes ages!

I wear these when it's raining heavily. They do a great job of keeping the rain out, as long as you have them done up properly to stop water getting in the top. The biggest downside is that they look utterly retarded.

Mudguards. SKS Chromoplastic full length mudguards.

Most of the water getting on your shoes is spray coming up not rain falling down. Mudguards will do a better job than overshoes.
