Cycling - lights suggestion

Really like this rear light, throws out an impressive amount of light and the lasers show up really well.

Awesome! I'm planning on my first night ride on Friday. I had it out in the dark m and yeah the lasers are strong! I was worried they were going to be pathetic!

I still use my Exposure Diablo.

Attaches to a helmet with no issues (you can just about feel the weight of it but nothing major), and lights up an entire dark country lane with no issues. It's been my trusty commuting light for years now.

I must say too I prefer having a head (helmet) torch as opposed to a bar mounted torch. I prefer being able to light where I'm looking, which yes is right in front of me pretty much all the time, but occasionally it's useful to see left and right too.

Best to have both. If I'm on the road I'll always go bar mount but off road will be both. Just because of the way you generally want your light down away from car users.

Flood for Bars.
Spot for Helmet. (Or a high powered flood)
I use MTB Batteries but they're for MTB night riding. The helmet light I have (800lumens) would be fine for a bar light for commuting.

The front light off amazon and came with a back light.

The rear one I thought looked cool. It projects a laser onto the pavement.

Ill get the links

The laser does appear to be bright!
Just received this (rear light), worried there wouldn't be enough space to strap it on the frame but it fits well enough on my rear mudguard. Impressive light and big step up from my previous cheapo button style light.
