Cyclist causes big crash with other cyclist after, well being a cyclist

oh look another bash a cyclist thread lol, the poor car drivers :( wha wha whaa..

yes she was stupid, yes she made a mistake, no not all cyclists are like that.

unless you're saying that a single driver reflects the attitude of every driver on the road too?

cmon now.

I didn't say every cyclist was like this, but these nu-wave cyclists that get all lyrca cladded up are certainly a different breed, and seem to be the cyclist equivalent of the Audi/BMW driver of the motoring world.

It's ok for you making light-hearted jokes about it but for some of us it's a real problem!
I'm an Audi driver but also a lycra-clad cyclist, it causes me a lot of stress and confusion trying to work out when my God-given entitlement to the road is at it's strongest.
Things will be a lot simpler once the rest of the population accept that I am the primary road user in any situation and get off my roads.

My god, you have reached peak evolution.....

Erm... you're talking about 99% of people in this section then :p

Hey, I didn't move this here. :D

I don't understand why people whinge about people wearing lycra to ride a bike. For a certain type of cycling it is fundamentally the right tool for the job. Call me when you're riding thousands of miles a year in all weathers at 15-20mph doing rides of anything up to 100 miles at a time and then we'll talk about why you think jeans and a t-shirt are right for the job.

High five :D

UP UP!! :D

agreed, it's literally people who have no idea! regular cyclist(those that wear lycra due to obvious comfort reasons) are 99% higher skilled than those who don't cycle regularly.

I'm surprised the Daily Mail published this, as it doesn't fit with their cyclist-hating, narrative that claims the CSH are a waste of money because no one uses them.

The irony of the video is that the road next to the CSH is fairly empty, so perhaps they should be widening them CSH and reducing the road space?

Except the woman in the video... :D:rolleyes:
Wonder what the damage would have been if two cars collided head on?
Never happens. Because they pay road tax.

To be honest that's more surprising than the incident... I'm going to bet there's 10+ incidents like this daily on Londons roads/CSH's.
The roads are empty because immigrants and the liberal elite.
And BREXIT.

Disclaimer: Sometimes I drive my car on the roads wearing lycra.
