I have a D300 and a Sandisk Ultra 30mb/s and the card is definitely genuine, however I'm getting only about 2-3fps from it. Remove the card and the camera can rack off 8 shots in demo mode. Surely the card shouldn't be limiting, especially seeing as the photos should be held in the buffer before they're written to the card? Is there something I'm missing here?
) and it seems the only advantage is when horribly underexposing images, which realistically I shouldn't ever do! I might switch back to 14bit when taking something like a sunset just to 'future-proof' it, but otherwise 12bit is what I'll be using.
