D3DERR_DEVICELOST. HELP!

Hey i post a thread yesterday about having corruptions with my card ( 7900GTX) I have installed the Latest Nvdia Driver and the Corruptions are pretty much gone just a few little ones the size of pixels. But my main problem is when i try to run 3dmark or a game i get the following:


' IDirect3ddevice0::Present failed: Device lost ( D3DERR_DEVICELOST ) '

Now i have run Direct X diagnostic tool and its saying i have Direct X 10 when i have installed Direct X 9. Could this be the caus of this or is the card faulty :(
 
Best to post in the Futuremark forums for these kind of problems, I usually get that error if I try to go back to the desktop.
