d5 comprestion joint

Hi. had a HSPC pump, rad etc for a year now. It glugs air now and again, so asked wife for D5 pump/res for birthday. I use those plastic hose clamps but have seen metal compresion joints. Where do I get them. I think they are g 1/4

Compresion fittings.

Sounds like you have air trapped in the system so may not need the new pump and res.

I won't tell you how to bleed the system as i am pretty new to this myself and do not want to give you any wrong advise.

Am sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon to help.
