D80 - Change ISO shortcut?

Just a quicky, found most of the buttons and what they all do, and have found the front button that displays the ISO settin at the time, but cannot change it while pressing it with either wheel. Anything I'm doing wrong or is this a 'missing feature?'

The button on the front will be the custom function button, you want the one on the back, 2nd from the bottom marked (conveniently) ISO and has the zoom out and focus point icons on it. Hold it down and move the rear command dial to change the ISO value
