Anyone going to be watching this??, been seeing the ads on Fox for it and it looks pretty good from what i can see. I'll probably watch it as there isnt much on TV at the moment other than Game of Thrones, which i still need to get round to watching the first 2 episodes.

Starts April 19th on Fox: http://foxtv.co.uk/da-vincis-demons...nd&utm_term=da+vinci's+demons&matchtype=Exact

Blockbuster drama from David S. Goyer, co-writer of The Dark Knight trilogy.

In a world where thought and faith are controlled, one man fights to set knowledge free.

The secret history of Leonardo da Vinci's tantalising life reveals a portrait of a young man tortured by a gift of superhuman genius.

He is a heretic intent on exposing the lies of religion, an insurgent seeking to subvert an elitist society and a ******* son who yearns for legitimacy with his father.

He finds himself in the midst of a storm that has been brewing for centuries.

This historical fantasy drama is not for the faint-hearted. Sex, scandal, intrigue, murder, mystery and an exciting quest all set against the lavish back drop of 15th Century Florence combine to unravel the truth and lies, religion and reason, past and future.

Is his story a lie? Leonardo must take up the fight against foes who use history to suppress the truth.

Da Vinci's Demons starts on Friday 19 April at 10PM.

Just watched the first episode and actually quite enjoyed it! Thought the bit where he let the birds out of the cage and it went all slow-mo and showed him working out all the varibles looked awesome.

Watched the first episode last night. Was okay, didn't really blow me away, some of the CGI scenery looked really dodgy and I feel like it's trying to be Game Of Thrones with all the sex and nudity.

I'll give it a few more episodes but I'm not sure if I'll stick with it, I don't tend to enjoy British-made dramas for whatever reason, and that's the vibe I'm getting from this.

I actually quite like it. As a piece of complete fiction its actually quite fun. Laura and Lara are quite easy on the eye :D

I've watched 3 episodes and as someone who has watched many documentaries on Da Vinci and read much literature this is truly a work of fiction.
For instance all scholars agree he was gay but in this he is a proper hit with the ladies.
I am enjoying it though.

SPOILER ALERT
Hes up before the beak in EP4 for committing some ungodly act upon some bloke or other :p

But yea im liking it so far.. some (ok one) nice ladies in it too :D

Watched episode 1 the other night and these are eating away space on my SkyHD box, it was ok, not sure I can be bothered sticking with it though

I've quite enjoyed it, but i do tend to like the daft fantasy shows. It 'almost' feels like it should be a Saturday night one a la Merlin, Legend of the Seeker etc but not quite light-hearted enough. It doesn't deserve the 8.2 rating on IMDb though.

Last night's episode really didn't feel like a season finale, more just a cliff hanger for the next episode. Really short too with only 8 episodes.
