Yeah, they're a brand, also made in Germany last time i checked. Their sound is bright, Sennheiser is typically dark and smoother. Both brands do many types of headphones, amps, etc. The Beyer 990 is the one that typically gets mentioned on here for gaming, but it's not the be all and end of gaming preffered headphones.

I have listened to these speakers and can confirm they are good. I'm running some active studio monitors, however if I was on a budget would be happy to pair these with a good amp.

Sorry if I've missed it but how much desk / room space do you have and budget?

I have a Soundblaster G6 running headphones (Beyerdynamic DT1770 pro - closed back headphones) and iLoud micro monitors. For their size, the iLouds compete with bookshelf speakers and things 4x their size.
Currently rocking out some Pink Floyd (The Division Bell) and they are not far off sounding like my B&W 603 floorstanders which is quite incredible really - Obviously not going to compete in the bass department but certainly sound nice.
