Random thread of the year award goes to...

You know, you'd have half forgiven this thread had it been a single crap photo of an Aston/Ferarri/Porsche/Lambo/similar, but seriously, WTF :/
 
Threads like these remind us what a great place the motors forum can be at times. Such tolerance and understanding for one simply trying to contribute with what little is available to him.
 
So if I were to go into General Hardware and start a thread "dads mouse" with a single out-of-focus, grainy shot of an MX1000 lazer, no-one would think that a little odd?

Yeah people post photos of their cars in here, but generally with some detail, or at least some description as to what it is, I mean sure its a Volvo (C60?), but what specifics?
 
Care to elaborate? Optional Extras? Interior? How long has he had it? Performance Specs?

Got any other shots, or can you go take any?

hoping some one here would..i no it shifts but prolly feels faster than it is.

had it about 2 years

i do like it becuase its very comfortable and quite fast especially for a heavy car.


only thing is you mite be able to see its had a fight with a car wash and lost it aerial which i am told is a difficult job to replace

They are quite fast for what they are. I got my dad to get a 02 plate V70, it has a 2.4 Turbo engine, which is either very similar of the same one as in that above volvo. I thought it was like a rocket when i first got into it, but now i have a Yamaha FZ6........ :D
 
Pretty slow for what they are in my opinion :p my mum has one but a 2.0l turbo convertable, only produces 163hp which isnt very good at all! She refuses to admit that my valver will beat her newer car despite it being a lot lighter.

thats the first thing that i thought ..that the stereo is really good and very bassy also still keeps its quality at high volumes,theres about 7 speakers in it or summert

cant see it beating the 2.4 though
 
On the specifications of the 2.4 above showing it's 0.60 time is 7.9 when stock a valver will do 7.4 seconds. ;) they are still very nice cars though and very comfortable.

i see..yours will be a hell of a lot lighter though and will it reach 140 as the above spec..even though i know that it can do more as ive seen it 150+ with my own eyes

BTW what is a valver an engine type?
