OK, this seems a little stupid even to me, so I ready to be slapped down here.
The plan...A 3 pump cooling loop.
The (daft) logic.....
I already have a D5 Vario twin (series) Pump block but it sits closer to the bottom of an Obsidian D900 which is quite a tall case.
I was thinking that after passing some coolant through a couple of Rads and "lifting" it most of the way up the case that perhaps adding an additional pump near the top would add a little pressure boost to the coolant before it hit the CPU and VRM blocks....
I could probably achieve the same for less by splitting the two existing pumps and placing them at different points in the loop, but I actually like the look of the dual pump top and its present location.
Proposed loop MK2
Res > EK Dual Top (Series) + 2 x D5 Vario > 240 Rad > Chipset Block > 480 rad > (climb up case) > D5 Vario Pump > CPU > VRM > 480 Rad > GPU > Res
So....I am prepared for the flack....or healthy debate from the "daft fringe"
