Poor guy. I wasn't a mega fan or anything, but he was a good presenter, funny and flamboyant. He did a great job of dragging some life and enthusiasm out of halfwit contestants - I know just how exhausting and unrewarding work that can be.

No mention of cause or that he was ill, but have mentioned he was struggling with depression. Got a bad feeling this was suicide

Read this last night, would have loved to have been on supermarket sweep, loved it as a kid.
He was an excellent entertainer and seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

As others have said already seemed a really nice person, always enjoyed watching him on TV, and he was good on the lottery show.
