Dam it, I cannot prove I exist as I am paperless.

You're obliged to but how will the company the OP's dealing with know that he's notified the DVLA and updated his information? It could be months out of date. A recent utility bill/bank statement will be more reliable as far as this company is concerned.

When I was working with kids at the NHS we had to get them all CRB checked and it was a major problem.
My advise is go and check what you need for a CRB and if it's good enough for that it's good enough for a future employer - http://www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk/PDF/CRB11 Guidance Notes.pdf

They wouldn't, but the driving licence is as valid as the passport in terms of ID. More so than a bank statement as ID for instance.

As Jonny69 said they want everything to be 3montsh old max. I forgot to mention that. Everything I have like insurance, CRB checks are all over that timeframe.

They are being understanding about it and are looking into using my payslips. I just find it funny how online based people cannot prove they are real. Being paperless might be good for the environment but it's no good to prove you are real.

Greenlizard0 I love you idea that's the best yet.

I need to prove I am real to a company I am dealing with but I cannot pass the security checks. No mobile phone bill as I am pay as you go due to hardly using phones (I prefer email and online based communication). No bank statements as its all online based and paperless. No paper based bills.

Ok I have a passport but a passport by its self is not enough. They want evidence I live at my current location. Anyone else have or had the problem where everything is so online based there is no paper trail?

print out your on-line statement ?

You usually have an option to "view statement" for a specific month, which has all the logos, your name + address etc.. on. Just print it out on a colour printner.

Worked for me before.

Take a photo with a current newspaper in every room of your house, and sleeping in your bed :D

When I asked my bank to print me out a statement they did so... but it didn't have my address printed on. No need, as it wasn't being sent to me. They couldn't print it with my address on.

Do you have anything such as a wage slip? Or tax letter with your tax code for this year? Anything like that? Mine accepted my HMRC letter.

I'm in the exact same situation right now, it's so annoying. I've just asked my bank the question if they'll print me off a letter saying I bank with them. I fear I sounded like a Nigerian scammer in my message though :(
