I bought PES 2008 when released and my nephew knocked the 360 over scratching the disk inside so now an error comes up disk is unreadable.

Is it possible to return the disk to Konami or someone to get it replaced for free?

This happened to me with Spiderman 3. I rented a second copy rom blockbuster and swapped the disks over :)

I'm not sure you'll get anywhere tbh, but you can try.

lol I went to Blockbuster aswell, but they had non to rent, I think that'll be the easy option though.

I know Microsoft do a free disk replacemnt for games they publish, but dont think Konami do.

Buy a new one?

You damaged it, its not like its faulty.

Yeah but to be fair in any other CD/DVD player on the planet he could've dropped the unit downstairs or bounced it off a wall and the disc would still have been fine, so you can kinda see where he's coming from.

As it's a 3rd party game I'm not sure if you can claim any replacement, your only chance is to claim your console chewed your disc, which to be honest is what happened anyway (bad design - highly temperamental).

Maybe have your console layed flat in future so it can't be knocked over.

Errr... what? He knocked it over whilst the disk was spinning (actually ive assumed this, but i bet it was), most players would shred the disc in a similar fashion. I knocked my PS2 over in a excited game of Pro Evo, queue wrecked PS2 and shafted disc, so its not just because its a 360. IF he hadnt touched the machine and it had chewed the disc normally, then he could complain.

People need to start accepting responsibility for their actions.
