damaged macbook case

Hi guys, a piece of plastic has pulled off my macbook by where my wrist rests when using the trackpad. Im sure ive seen a thread about this, but cant seem to find it. Does anyone know if i would be able to get this repaired?

If so I think apple will repair it. Someone else will be able to confirm but I'm sure i remember reading that apple will repair it due to it being a common fault on some of the macbooks.
 
ya it used to be like that mate, but i caught it with my hand and pulled the plastic off. just doesnt look great if you know what i mean. :( Ill take pictures if anyone needs one.

gumbald, how would you about replacing that? Surely that kind of damage is "accidental" or something ? Or could it be considered a manufacturing defect?
Would they replace the entire MB?
 
thanks for your input guys, ive just called an authorised service centre and they said that because the macbook is out of warranty itll cost me £90 plus VAT....:( surely this cant be right??....
 
just thought id let you guys know, everything was sorted in super quick time, laptop went in on monday, and came out tuesday as good as new. Now thats service. Thanks for all your help :)
