Got replaced by overclockers and got to keep the broken one

Badly bent

The DPD drivers in my area (Reading) are excellent, never had an issue, I've made a point of being friendly to them and taking in parcels for neighbors , now if i'm not home, they drop by on the end of their runs to try and deliver again.

I deliver for the rainforest and to be fair its standard practice to reattempt deliveries but it doesn't do any harm being friendly.

Have to say I hate it when neighbours make excuses not to take in parcels, don't mind when they just say no.

Sounds pretty standard for DPD to me

I've just (within last 10 mins) had 3 monitors (from oc) delivered to me, they were practically thrown at me by the driver, one of the boxes has been dropped as the corner is crushed and one of the boxes has a huge hole in the front face going through to the screen where its clearly been stood on. and to top it off they only delivered half the order.

In my experience DPD are a bunch of clowns. I have had exactly what the OP describes happen to me when the driver showed up in a greasy t-shirt and hurriedly tried to get me to sign for a bashed box before I noticed, I've had them claim they left a card because I was out when I was in, but no card even got put through my letterbox, so I had to collect the item the next day without a card, and I have had (when they delivered a certain online rainforest based store's paid-for one-day delivery service) them just scan the item basically "can't be ***ed" and had to wait 4 days instead of 1. Come to think of it they never got anything to me in one day ever.

I avoid using them whenever possible.
