Dammit! hit and run!

Hiya all was sitting inside watching the football when I heard a skid and a smash came out side to see a car in a wall near my girlfriends car had flattened a street sign and smashed the bumper on our car went up to the driver and asked if she was alright i helped her move her car off the road and she driven off! I have rang the police and reported it said they will be here in an hour 2hours ago any idea if i am facing the damage costs myself with it been a hit and run anyone know what happens next really.

Sitting here fuming cant belive some people ..oh on the bright side I got a lovely pic of the crash including registration and all

..and england lost ! ..arrggghH!!

if shes driven off then it maybe the car is stolen, not insured or she has no licence

Nothing the police can do at the moment.
As there were no injuries hasn't she got 24hrs to report the accident?
If she was drunk then she is long gone and sober before she reports it.

Pound to a penny, the driver has just left the pub, stacked it, and is now hibernating until 'the effects' have worn off.

There's going to be a lot of Police, accruing a lot of toasters this evening...

Those people spoil it for the rest of the England supporters , no wonder there are so many countries glad to see England leaving the world cup.

She did come back around looked like a couple of older people driving and could see her hidden in the back seat footwell must have came back to see what damage was caused you will all be proud of my 1337 camera skills anyway lol still waiting for the police to show up had to go down to the police station so they could say that I attended a police station ..lol why?!

If the Police were clever enough, they would still test her blood and extrapolate the results back to the time of the crash. As I said in another thread, alcohol follows zero order kinetics and can easily be worked out whether or not she was over the limit at the time of the accident.

Of course, she will just argue that she had a drink between now and then, which isn't as clear cut.

Just got a call from the police saying the car had been involved in a few accidents and the car was found dumped they are trying to trace the driver and its unlikely they will pay for the damage they caused ..oh joy!

That's complete balls mate. Unlucky fella. Does the photo which you took have a clear picture of her? I bet she was drunk and is going to say somebody stole the car.
