Damn it, need new brakes!

Just took my car down to the garage to get new brake pads fitted due to a grinding noise coming from the front, just had a phone call saying the whole braking system is in a bad way, so the pads and discs are worn right down and the cylinders at the back are shot and leaking brake fluid, so need a whole rework at a cost of £250! :eek:

plus the £95 I just spent taxing the bloody thing, that's all my money for the month gone lol

it is verry posible the work needs doing but i would suggest if you can to get quotes from other places i forgot the exact prices but there was about 40 quid difference to get disks and pads done from quick fit and moto-save (motosave were cheepest) now i learnt i can do them myself verry easy the parts cost so little.

Jobs done now, they gave me 20% off but I'm pretty sure the work needed to be done as I was finding it harder to stop and the car didn't sound very good while doing it lol

I just spent £575 having my brakes reconned with new pads so count yourself lucky

lol they didn't mug me off too much, I looked up all the parts on a few websites and they weren't that much cheaper than what the garage charged me
