*oi no competitor hinting!* and walked out with Wii in hand. This was in Cardiff, yesterday. You would have to be an absolute idiot to pay this price. Considering most of the general population are idiots they will sell.

I've had mines since launch and I have a TON of games. Most of them are rubbish, the ones I liked are Zelda, Wii Sports, The Bigs and Brain Academy. Waiting for Mario now. My PS3 & PC gets most action at the moment.
why are they selling them above rrp? any chance for a rip eh

wii's are fun mate at first, but after 2 weeks of mine the novelty wore thin and i sold it, playing zelda was a pain in the arse, i found myself wanting a normal N64/GC controller

seriously, almost everyone in the world buys the Wii on impulse and doesn't bloomin use it, i know dozens of people who bought them, played wii sports/play for a few weeks and now they all sit gathering dust. parents and old stupid people buy them because they are the latest craze thats acceptable for older people, and they sit around my rents house, my rents friends houses completely unused.
Nintendo are doing great with production, its a ridiculously cheap bit of kit to make, how do you keep selling it at a high price, simply don't produce them quickly. they could flood the market, they could have done it ages ago a month or two after release. but lack of them in stores, the apparent numbers being sold has been encouraging sales. people really are dumb, they walk into a high street store, see a shelf full of ps3's, and 360's and a wii shelf thats empty, the brain makes them think, everyone wants the Wii, so do i

but for the love of god, don't pay a stupid amount for them. go look at what games are out, then list how many you'll buy, when you get a list of 2/3 games think if you want to spend £210+ on the console.

novelty wore off when i was going to bed sweating & out of breath after 5 rounds of boxing lol wife thought id been upto no good

considering they are the only one making money from the hardware i say they do it pretty damn well, better than the rest.
IMO Wait untill the January sales, they may not be down in price but Retail will have loads and prices will be back to normal.
by then, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers will be out whether you can skimp the cash for all of those ^_^.
