Danamics LMX review

This is revision two of the electromagnetically pumped liquid metal heatsink, using pipes with NaK in instead of heatpipes.

My criticism of the first version was that they used fairly dense, parallel aluminium fins with a fan right up against them. I'm irritated to see that they've repeated this, despite coolers like the TRUE being so exceptional purely because thermalright had the foresight to not set up the fins in this fashion.

It is compared to the noctua 120mm heatsink, which is hardly top of the line, and to the corsair h50 with its stock fan. These are not the top of the air coolers, the noctua is beaten conclusively by megalahems and the true, and by noctua's own latest cooler. The H50 just doesn't perform particularly well with its stock fan. As such I'm far from impressed that it won, the cynic in me suspects the reviewer is disinclined to show it losing to a superior heatsink.

Good idea, poor implementation. I look forward to version 3.

Agreed, no point in testing it unless your gonna be comparing it to the top end heatsinks.
