Hi I fancy getting hold of one of these Danbo characters for playing with photography a bit. Any idea where you can buy them, where i have found them they seem quite expensive.

Also seen some of these print your own Danbo's anyone done that?

Print your own? Nope not found any of these...

I imagine they wouldn't quite work so well either. The actual thing is a decent plastic, with movable parts and LED eyes :)

Seems like you've probably found already that the best place is shipping from Japan for a good bit... Seems like you can get them from anything between 17-25 pounds with various shipping costs. Ebay seems to have some for £25 with no shipping cost (still shipped from Japan)

There was a link provided to the Amazon version in the last couple of pages of the things I've bought this month thread ...

There is also a plastic kit version available from Japan as well as the pre-made version, (it's the original unbranded version)

Yes i have seen the templates. But I am thinking a proper one would be better. As these you would not be able to move the joints. Lights do not light up etc.

Thanks anyhow. SilverTongue

There on ebay, there not bloody cheap mind as some come from Japan, some from HK, so the postage will make your eyes water.

He gets everywhere, I was operating in the RTTY contest today, looked up and there he was, playing with my radio!

My gf loves this little guy, just got her 2 of them to play with as a Christmas present to go with her camera. 1 big and 1 small.

Expensive for what they are, but oh well.
