Dangerous U-Turns/3 point turns

The other day I had someone do a U-turn in a T junction as we were both turning right into it. This guy goes pretty wide into the turn, but some people just do as its an odd shape road. I go my usual tight turn into it as there is nothing coming from the turning and suddenly his car if facing to the right of me, he notices me and just stops, so now I'm stopped with most of my car in the main road.

Apparently I'm a ****head for not being able to read his mind, I just sat there smiling and he drove off in the opposite direction. I've always gone with the unwritten rule that you only do U-turns and 3 points when no one else is around or at least far away enough not to get in their way.

Yeah, I am an idiot, grow up with your childish name calling. I am in no way suggesting that there are not moronic drivers from all walks of life, ages, religions, ethnic backgrounds etc. I had just stated that I have only ever seen this particularly idiotic manoeuvre being done by these people otherwise I would have not made that observation.

Can you actually quantify what "grow up" actually means, and how "growing up" will change the behavior you're taking issue with?

Is that sort of behavior only acceptable from people below a certain age?

Or is the reality that you've just used the incredibly generic term of "grow up", that practically means nothing, but gives people an odd sense of satisfaction when used as they believe if gives credence to their argument?

Stop looking for an argument.

Driving standards vary where you go in the country. I find that city centers breed the kind of driving standard that just makes me shake my head. I have done some stupid things on the road like everyone but sometimes it just shocks me what I see in and around the cities.

I'm not looking for an argument. I'm pointing out that the OP's attitude and response to someone rubbishing their argument is a bit crap, and made even worse by the generic largely meaningless quip of "grow up".

I didn't deny that people in general are bad drivers, they are. The roads of full of idiots because people in general are idiots, so it's not much of a surprise there to be honest.

why not just ignore it? the op isn't going to change his posting style or view because some person he doesn't know on the internet has pointed out the error of his ways.

So why not practice what you're preaching and ignore my post?

Do you expect me to change my view on people who use "grow up" or change my views because some person I don't know on the internet has pointed out the error of my ways?
