I was, but only momentarily as I was churning the characters out looking for one to call my main

It's looking like my scout will be my main, as much as I want to get back into 8v8/gp rvr with my sorc or fire wiz, it's just not going to happen.

I had front row tickets to watch a massive 3 way in nott last night. 2 groups from hib, 2 groups from mid, and 1 group from alb all met just south of nott spire.. it felt like the old days watching that many people fighting. :cool:

Any other linkes for the lotm client, when I try and download it it only downloads 512k

Edit: looks like thats correct but patcher wouldnt start until I turned off uac.

Yes you can be any class from the 3 realms, but for some reason I chose Albion.

Invite would be nice, but perhaps a brief 'trial' would be in order to ensure we are all compatible?

I chose alb as they have the best stealther (Scout

) and the best crowd control (sorc) and is what I used to play on live, so I'm more comfortable with them. I also <3 fire wiz. Pure damage, no nonsense. Biggest and best DD'er in the game.

Also for some reason, fights always seem to happen in Beno - so they are closer to home

You can role any class/realm on genesis, I've got a wl on the same account, and intend on trying out a zerker and probably an eldritch or something, too.

Out of all the classes, they gave me the biggest headaches when a sorc/wiz/scout. Those chambers are just .. unfair :/

Im going to role a healing Cleric, but a group with people would be better as its a pain to level solo.

Just had an absolute blast on Genesis with my scout. Was in a group of 3 scouts, 3 inf and 1 mins. PWNAGE!

It's going to be a VERY long time before any game (inc. DAoC) will be that much fun again.`

It uses the normal DAoC client, so if that runs on it, then yes.

I have now rolled a character on the US Devon Cluster (Kay Server). The population hits 3000+ when the yankies are on and around 2000 when they're in bed so defo worth playing if you don't mind leveling, or power leveling a character.

They are also going to merge a few of the clusters soon so there will be even more people online, and then there is DAoC Origins, which according to the Herald grab-bag is now back on the developers to-do list!!!
