Pretty much mentioned the topic in the subject itself
I have just recently built a HTPC for mainly music but sometimes i play movies through it , the kind of Sound quality i get is very good compared to a media player(HD900B) which i initially thought for movies.
My HTPC set up is HTPC ---USB---> Hiface Evo---I2S--->Evo Dac
My Media Player Set up HD900B ---Coaxial--->Evo DAC
i would have done that comparison by myself but im getting two problems
1. LAN cable to run through my main room(which i don't want & no other options of keeping router near the HTPC by some other ways)- i think a wifi card can also be helpless as its not integrated in MoBo so it needs driver & daphile cannot detect i think-however i have not tried this- please pour opinion on this
2.I cannot play movies via Daphile in which case i can not enjoy sq from movies.
im playing my music through foobar using kerner streaming which is quite good but unable to compare it with daphile.
