I really like games like Half Life, Quake, Doom and FEAR. Can you recommend me something new and similar?

Did you ever try Dead Space (the original) 2 and 3 are poo though.

System Shock 2!

It's getting fairly old now, think it's been around 15 years... But it's still one of the greatest games ever made, let alone FPS's

Hmmm.... 'The Chronicles of Riddick : Assault on Dark Athena' might do.

+1 for System Shock 2 (excellent voice acting and storyline). Needs to be modded.

Depends on what you mean by 'new' but assuming you mean from the past 3 years, something a bit lesser known then maybe check out Singularity. I played it about 4 months ago and wrote a mini-review here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=23233702&postcount=57. I only paid a few quid for it in 2011.
