No, he's mortal! He just gets help from gods! He dies like fifteen times throughout the duration of the God of War trilogy! He just gets fished out of the river styx by various people...

... ok he WAS a god for a little while, but i'm talking the God of War 3, eye poking out, head ripping off, leg shearing Kratos who WAS mortal!

You have to admit, he has no super powers, he just kills people with super powers, steals their body parts that contain said powers and uses those himself. If he were in left for dead he'd be running around with a tanks muscles strapped across his arms, kicking ass.

If i was taking someone for *that*, Alyx Vance > Chloe Frazer (hmm, does the actor who played Tanya from Red Alert 2 count :D)

I would take:
Sephiroth (no-one said i had to choose good guys!)
Tank from L4D (:p)
Gordon Freeman (for obvious reasons)

I've only played God Of War briefly, I just knew he became God of War at some point :p

Yeah for like.... 5 mins of God of War 2, then he ****es off Zeus by being too badass and has his godly powers taken away...

... doesn't stop him from owning Zeus with a big stick though.

Marcus Fenix (GoW) - Dispatched literally hordes of enemies. Good with volume.
Issac Clarke (Dead Space) - Familiar with the recently reanimated.
Claire Redfield (Resident Evil) - Also experienced in the zombie dispatching arts, and a wee bit of poontang along for the ride never hurts.

Captain Price (COD4 - For the survival skills)
Frank West (Dead Rising - I figure he's a professional Zombie killer, killed 40,000 with a car so he can get a MegaMan gun for god sake, more than your L4D lot!!)
