Hi

Im trying to think of a way to fix a cable for my car dash cam. I want to fix it around the edges of the windscreen on the passenger side to the top centre of the windscreen.

The top is ok as I can tuck it easily behind the roof felt but the plastic pillars are quite solid.

I have seen these sticky clips on places like eBay but I have no idea if they are any good on plastics?

Any other solution.

thanks:)

I did this for my phone mount.
Used some plastic packaging to make them.

You can almost always get cable in behind the A pillars, either pull them back and tuck it in or if need be run it to the door seal side and you should find an easy way to run it down there

Thanks guys, I really need to have another look, the weather has been so rubbish lately to really have a good go at trying to install the cable.

Tomsk, looking at your pics is that basically a piece of thin plastic folded in half and squeezed into the gaps to hold the cable? might have to try that.

I have never needed to use clips because as already said I just tuck the cable under the roof liner and behind the A pillar. The rest of the excess cable is stored under the dash as it runs to the centre console. Much cleaner than cable clips and easier to remove if need be.
