I'm in the market for a dashboard cameras for a car, budget around £50, anyone recommend me one?

Sj4000 I think was a good go pro alternative, Not sure if it's changed since I last looked

Check if your insurance company gives a discount for fitting a dashcam
Whatever company I was with
Basically paid for a nice next base 412gw
Forget which company was couple years ago now
