I am looking for either free or low cost data manipulation software to use in my business. Currently I use Excel to present figures and data however I have come to feel that the display features are quite limited which don't really allow expressive and illustrative presentations to be done.
I have looked at a tool called SmartDraw which does allow some interesting data presentation however if anyone could recommend anything better which is at an affordable cost or even free I would really appreciate it.
In addition, if there are any addons for Excel which would allow a greater customization of charts/graphs please can you point me in the right direction.
