Hi guys.

Since a lot of people are still using Standard Platter hard drives for their data storage, obviously due to the higher capacities at a lower price to SSD's..
Hard Drive failure is still a big problem, It dont happen everyday, but when it does happen, i can guarantee you will be gutted that you have lost all your data.. (unless you regularly perform backups of course)...
Which i dont..... :(
or you get the odd numpty that formats their hard drive and realises they have just wiped out their data..

My other half hasnt got a slightest clue when it comes to computers, she has an external hard drive, full of very important images and other data... She accidently clicked Format..... and lost everything...

So i decided to put my hand in my pocket and fork out for a proper data recovery setup...
I recovered her data for her 100%, all fine and now she is happy...

I have recovered data in the past from failing hard drives by temp replacing the faulty part and copying the data from it...

SO, onto the topic...

I am offering data recovery services now...
Accidently formatted, corrupted windows files that unable you to boot into windows to copy them, Virus problems, Hard drive failures (obviously cannot recover head crashes, that just kills the platters).....

All data will be recovered and put on multiple DVD-DL disk's, then posted back to you, along with the hard drive i was originally sent from you....

You see companies on the net charging a fortune, and im talking abotu hundreds of pounds....

I will only be charging £20 per hard drive for accidental formatting, corrupt files, etc etc..

I will obviously have to charge more if there is an actual hard drive fault, because that would mean i will have to pay out for a new part and fit it....
But that price can be discussed at the time....

feel free to email me: [email protected]
Please make sure the Subect is "Hard Drive recovery", otherwise i may not fully notice it...

thanks

Speaking precisely you shouldn't be offering services like this on the forums, as I think it makes you a trader. Additionally you're outside of the member's market area...

However I hope the mods are a bit lenient on this because it's clear you're doing it for virtually free, since you're only after £20, and I couldn't understand you making a profit on it.

Think outside the box mods! :)

oh yeah, im not here to make profits out of people.
I put out this post simply for people who have lost their important data and would like it back...
Like i said, companies charge hundreds, personally i couldnt see anyone willing to pay those sort of prices to get a data off a £50 hard drive..

I have to charge £20, or else how will postage costs be payed...

As a member of a PC forum, and from PC user to another, im here to offer help to others..

quick update of my work...

i took two hard drives, copied a couple of useless files to them, the first hard drive i sunk in a sink of tap water and salt.. the second hard drive i dropped from the top of my stairs unless it suffered with head crash on the platters...

First test of recovery was on the salt water dunked hard drive, which i left dunked for 48 hours solid..
The salt had erroded some traces on the pcb but after touching those up with my soldering abilities, i left the hard drive in a warm place to dry out..
today i took it out, connected it up via usb adaptor, formatted it (for extra testing).. i still managed to recover 100% of the data, all files worked perfectly after recovering...

The second hard drive, well, i will be testing that tomorrow..

Just an update to tell you guys about my work available to anyone that needs it..

cheers
