I'm in need of some help from anyone with experience with data recovery, if possible.
Short story; Had a 500GB SSD and 2TB HDD in my home lab server and workstation. Just connected an additional 250GB SSD into the system, which was previously attached to another Windows box. I was unable to format the drive within Windows, so booted into DBAN to format the 250GB SSD.
I chose the 'Quick' option within DBAN to just quickly wipe the drive. After selecting 'Quick', DBAN started wiping all of my drives straight away without giving me the option to select a drive. It got to about 1% before I dived under the desk and hit the power switch.
However, I can no longer boot, and the drives appear to be empty.
I'm kicking myself and feel like an idiot for booting into DBAN without disconnecting the other drives first.
I have backups of important documents and files, however my entire home lab, about 12 VM's and months of work seems to be gone, not to mention the amount of apps, settings and config setup :\
I've got no experience with data recovery, what's my options? If any?
