Data Recovery Software

Hey Guys,

Whats a good piece of data recovery software which is free/easy to get hold of?

I'm trying to retrieve lost pictures from a laptop, so far I've used "Recover My Photos" and it has found pretty much all of them but it costs to actually recover them. I have got a copy of R-Studio but it is really difficult to use/find the photos.

Give Recuva a go. From the makers of CCleaner.

Recuva doesn't search deep enough

I need something which searches deep into a formatted drive, any suggestions greatly aprreciated.

getdataback may work. Worth a try anyway. If the photos are worth alog to you it may be worth taking it to a professional company.

Just found a copy of "Recover My Files" which, as you may have guessed, is from the same people who make "Recover My Photos"

Chances are I can get everything back!

It doesn't? Damn, I had hoped that their software was on par with the usefulness of ccleaner. Cheers for letting us know though..
