I've just pulled a hard drive from a Dell laptop which was having some issues (possibly with the hard drive itself). I've plugged it in to my PC via the ports on the top of my CM-690 II, and Windows7 is insisting that it needs to be initialized first, which will of course wipe all the data. There IS data on this drive- formatted NTFS, was running Windows XP, and I'd dearly love to keep the information on there. Do I have any options for gaining access to the disk without blowing it away first?
