Hi guys sorry if this has been covered before.
A friend of mine has just had a new hdd put in there laptop.
It was on it's way out clicking etc. It is still accessible just!
What would be the best way to get data, photos etc of it
quickly? would something like This work?
If not what other suggestions would you have plz?:D

Yes i think so!

I was in the same situation yesterday with my PC Sata drive, and i ordered a 3.5 version.

But they both do the same thing, i think you just plug it in and connect to the your new Laptop via USB and it will have everyone you had on that harddrive in a New Drive on My Computer.

Depends on the volume really.. If it's less than GB then use a USB stick. You can get them for under £25 now.

Failing that, install the new hard drive, install windows etc.. Then attach the old drive via a USB attachment.. This little device is dead handy.. I have two, one in my toolbox and the other in the workshop..

Just copy the files over into the new location.

Thanks for that guys thought that was the way to go.
Admiral the one you suggested looks really good not seen one of those before cheers.;)
