David Cameron run into by "Jogger" in Leeds

It doesn't look like a jogger accidentally ran into DC it looked like it was done on purpose to me, but of course we only have that one video clip to go on.

However, I have to say I'd be embarrassed if I were the security services for how close he got to the PM. Had it been more sinister the PM would have been in a potential situation to be injured rather badly.

Had it been in the USA I doubt that guy would have been allowed that close anyway.

In a way I kinda like how we're less heavy handed with security - but at the same time there are so many crazies out there who would happily harm a person purely for being who they are that I guess they have a hard balancing act to do.

I foresee his current DPG detail will be on parking enforcement duties in Southall tomorrow as whatever the bloke that bumped into Cameron was up to, he shouldn't have got within 5 yards without being flattened by at least 2 of them.

It's all mouth 99.99% of the time as i've seen countless death threats on Tony Blair over the iraq war and it would be easy to get to him but nothing has happened

Indeed and the DPG guys I've seen aren't small, although ofc that could be their kit

Didn't look to me like the "Jogger" ran into him but up to him. It could quite easily have had a suicide vest on and boom.. I really wouldn't have thought people could get that close to him in this current level of threat.

Oh for christs sake, someone gets close to Cameron and they don't kill him?

Why would you waste that opportunity? I'd be well on it, I'd probably try and eviscerate him with a really sharp knife, you know, pull out his intestines and stamp on them.
