David Cameron run into by "Jogger" in Leeds

An hour ago on Sky News they were discussing this, that and the interactive Sky pad like the football. What they should have done, where they should have been and what he wasn't doing.

What I don't get as they make out it was just a jogger. Why wasn't he in the direction of the curving pavement heading to a gradual right.… When they ran that clip over and over, he was running in the direction of running across the step up grass. So he effectively ran in from a sharp left?

Poor jogger, Must be horrible running into a man that's "running" your country into the ground :(

What are you talking about. The economy is back to pre 2008 levels. They have hardly ruined the country during their term. Probably done as well as they could considering the mess that was left behind.

He didn't, so no harm done. Saying "what if" is pretty pointless.

He walks around with security....we never should have to ask "what if". It's not like politicians haven't been assassinated before now, is it? Security is all about asking "what if" and being prepared for anything, that's what they do, if they are so slow to react they might as well not bother. They were fast asleep.

Agreed. Also, why would a jogger run into a building, especially at that pace?

But we're not security, so yes, it is pointless for us to ask "what if". And I certainly wouldn't lose sleep over DM if something happened.

Maybe they were caught by surprise after they'd moments earlier seen him dismount his Quingo, and this was a protest at his disability benefit having been cut.

Most things are pointless. Doesn't mean we should stop doing them.

Come on, they're not. Asking silly questions is.

By all means continue on your noble quest to find the best possible way to protect our Prime Minister. I'm sure his security forces will be all to eager to hear your suggestions. :D

I suggest that they use lightsabers :p

I was simply stating that they were clumsy and not doing their job. It's quite simple really. Things like that can't really be left to chance.

Jogger ... lol

If you wanna kill Cameron buy a rifle and shoot him. It cant be that hard.

Seems a bit of a weird approach, who wouldn't have seen someone or a bunch of people in the way, and jogging in to an entrance to a building :\

Lol at the jogger comments, he has already said he was running to his gym.

Clearly finished work for lunch, and jogging/running to his gym. Seems a logical thing to do.

next up " We need greater security" so next time it will be a fully armed guard escort from then on in for anyone remotely 'important' for the rest of time will be untouchable .. much like a Mafia boss.

strange how this happened so close to the Canadian incident.

Still its great that this country has such a huge amount of freedom for people to walk around and interact with the locally and nationally elected. unfortunately things like this seem to be a catalyst for change.

cynical hat firmly on.
