BOXER David Haye wants to take on Tom Hardy in the ring.

The heavyweight is impressed by how much Tom bulked up for The Dark Knight Rises, in which he plays big baddie Bane.

The Hayemaker said: “Tom has got in fantastic shape. He looks like an absolute tank. But I think I could take him on – I’ll take him on for sure.

“Me and Tom Hardy, that would be a good fight for sure. He can be my next opponent.”

He's a top boy, there's no doubt about it. But, I think he maybe a little too dominating in the sack for me, at the moment at least. I think I'll wait until he's at his pre-Bane weight (and by that, I don't mean his Warrior/Bronson weight).

they have, this is about Haye wanting to break into acting, rather than Hardy into boxing, Haye is aligning himself with a fictional bad guy, in the pursuit of being a bad guy in movies
