Quite a few years ago, Lucy Davies had a regular part in The Archers. One year, there was a talent show as part of the storyline and she took part in that. There was a comment about her telling some jokes and in character she said "My dad's the comedian in our family".

That was a funny comment for those who knew that her dad in real life is Jasper Carrott (Bob Davies) but a throwaway line for everyone else.
