I think I am in the right area. :o

Does anyone remember, we're talking 17 years ago or so, web based tick games such as Dawn of Myth?

Another maybe was Terra something...or Planet something.

There were zero graphics and you basically built up an army plus researched new tech. Each thing you could would take 1 tick so 1 hour.

For example, if I wanted to build units it could take 8 hours and then another 8 hours to attack someone. This meant people would create 'stating plans' and wake up during the night to ensure no ticks were wasted. :p

Planetarion was my first, then O-Game and I did dabble in a Mafia one that was mainly booze trading/running.

Nothing quite like stupid infighting and politics within one's own local group to completely ruin a Planetarion round :D
