Day Insure

£20 a month to keep my computer safe from hackers, worth it!

Waste of money and time, I don't use any antivirus, I make up for it by not downloading dodgy files or visiting dodgy sites. IMO putting a machine with no important/personal data on it at risk of viruses is better than slowing it down by x% at all times. I have had one virus that caused me to have to erase my system and recover from backups in the last 25 years.

The best part is you still think its being sold in Reading, look at the map on Gumtree - think you might find its Eton, Slough. I can think of nothing worse than buying an underpriced, debt riddled, suspicious looking single picture peformance car from SLOUGH. That camber is probably from its last 90mph police chase over speedbumps when its dealer owner was running from "da pigs" ...

I thought he was being quite funny :)

Surely everyone knew straight away when he mentioned Norton he was trolling.

can i just ask a question on the side, Im looking at a car on saturday also. (has MOT and Tax). as long as the current driver has it insured can i drive it home as i have the "drive any car 3rd party extention" thingy or whatever its official name is on my insurance certificate?.

Once you've purchased it, and are driving it away, it's no longer his car, and it is your car, and a majority of DOC policies, stipulate that the other car is not to be owned by you in order for it to be covered. So it'll need its own insurance policy, or added on to your current one.

It's not co-incidence at all, its based on previously viewed sites so it was always going to come up. You'll get Mondeos on gumtree on half the sites you visit now for the next few days.

Honestly no, i have adblock plugins on my machine at home so never see them. I just happened to be posting from my work machine which doesn't have anything like that installed. Should have realised it was too much of a co-incidence !

This is completely false.

+1, never has and never will.

OP, if you are picking up a car with no mot the only way to drive it legally on the road is to book an mot and drive it to the mot station after picking it up.
