Day of Infamy - Free weekend - 6PM 12th October - 6PM 16th October

Bought it also after a few free games of it whilst at a LANParty at the weekend. Not sure I like it as much as Insurgency overall as I prefer the modern weapons, but from what I've seen this is well polished and has a nice feel to the shooting mechanics :)
 
Absolutely loving this atm. Gun play feels really good and so atmospheric.
Despite the small servers (32 Man) you're never far away from the action. :)
 
I haven't bought a game from Steam for a good few years, but i bought Insurgency and Day of Infamy in the Steam sales and i'm glad i did, awesome game.

Day of Infamy reminds me of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Return to Castle Wolfenstein multiplayer, had some great times in those two games.
 
I used to play Allied Assault and ET years back, both were a lot of fun, especially on LAN with friends! It's only £7 on the store so I'll pick it up and jump on tonight!

Nah. There are a few people that use their mics and in some situations it does help, but on the whole it's not really needed. A lot of people use the quick voice commands instead.
