Days Gone Remaster - £10 upgrade Question if you’re playing PS+ version but also own the disc version

Hi guys, does anybody know what we need to do to get the £10 offer on PS5?

So, I currently play Days Gone with the PS+ digital install we get free from the subscription but I do own it on disk.

Do I have to uninstall the game, then reinstall from the disc just so I can get the £10 discount?

This might seem like a daft question, but it's just that I don't own the digital version; I only own the PS4 disc version.

Seems like it yeah. It also says that the discounted price is only available from launch so, don't expect to see it as a pre-order.

You don't need to install the disc version (you can cancel the install immediately), just have the disc inserted and the upgrade option should appear.
 
Has anyone with the disc version seen the upgrade option? I've had a look and it doesn't seem to appear once the disc is inserted, just the product box which takes you to the full price digital game.

Edit: Ah never mind its confirmed you have to wait until launch day:

Are you certain that is where you got it from and you do not buy it on sale or something? They made it pretty clear that games from PS Plus etc would not be eligible for the £10 upgrade.

I'm sure if you go through your transaction history or e-mails you might find when you purchased it.

It has actually been offered twice on PS Plus; Once in the PS Plus Collection for PS5 owners who subscribe from November 2020 and then again as a normal monthly game in April 2021.

I'd check mine as it was also from the PS Plus Collection in 2020 but I've already purchased the Remastered upgrade for a disc copy. I didn't even check if it was available for my PS Plus copy before upgrading my physical copy as they stated it wouldn't work before hand.
 
Lol wtf. I definitely grabbed it off the collection when it launched. I’ll grab it one day when it’s really cheap as in £10 or something.

Did you stream it via PS+ by any chance? £10,000 is the dummy value they tend to put against the streaming version of the game on the Store (normally hidden from view).

If so, seems like banking error in your favour and it recorded it on your account in such a way that the current system thinks you owned the game outright.
