Days...

I was going to post that I always get two days out of my OnePlus One but I've just realised I'm sitting at 23% at 11:35am. Not sure if I'll make it to bed/charge time this evening..

Check out the mAh on the current battery, then generally range from 1900-6500 and you can also get battery packs say 15000 mAh, buy a higher rated battery.

Maybe flash some mod might help also.

Yes battery life is very poor for smartphones. I honestly wish manufacturers would invest money into giving us long battery life rather than things like octa-core processors.

Nexus 5 is renowned for poor battery life.

How much on screen time do you have to get it down to 15%?

With the Nexus 6 I rarely get home from work below 50%.

About 2 hours screen on time coupled with 90 minutes Spotify will eat well over half my battery. So that's me down to under 50% by 9am...

Phone batteries used to last days because making and receiving phone calls was all that you could do with them.

Phone technology has moved on, but surely battery technology has too?

The strive for massive screens and thinner phones has ruined it. I would gladly have a slightly thicker and heavier phone to get more battery life. But unfortunately battery life appears to be very low on any manufacturers priority list, and carrying portable chargers about has just become the norm and expected :(.

I have a 7000 mAh zero lemon battery on my S4, yeah it makes it twice the size but its worth it. I can fiddle with it all day and still only charge every 3-4 days. Shame sammy have gone for non replaceable batteries on the newer models :/

Non replaceable batteries is a **** idea - my note 1 battery started bulging due to known fault - replaced with a slightly higher capacity anker version no sweat.

I think nowadays the minimum should be a day. I mean do people really not charge their phone every night? My note is on 41% after nearly 24hrs of moderate usage. I am just about to charge it!

Drop a new kernel on it.. ! Then again, 3-3.5 sot is normal for nexus 5! Mine hardly gets to 3 hours! I have had it for a while tho, since release actually.. Waiting for my z3 compact to come now! Wanted something smaller, with better battery

Got a ZeroLemon 10000mah battery for my Note 3 in early 2014. Both my Sammy batteries died since 2013 as they are almost 2 years old now so were only charging to 60% and needed 2 charges per day (when new it was 1 charge every night).

Put the ZeroLemon battery in and at the end of the day, after general phone, WiFi and about 7 hours of music usage am left with aroung 90%.

This battery will last you for a week at least with general use, or if you only use it on standby and calls as you would with the old Nokias as there was F-all to do on them you'll get at least a month - maybe even more.
