DBAN speed

sold a 1TB hard drive on ebay samsung f1 internal as im upgrading my data storage to 3tbs

never run dban before but just fired it up on autonuke and it thinks it will take 14 hours , is that per pass? or for the 3 passes in total

is there anything else i need to do after dban
nothing overly sensetive on the drive but have used the pc to buy stuff online so i guess credit card could be in there somewhere also emails passwords etc

Don't think so. DBAN seems favoured in this thread.

I didn't have enough time once so downloaded a few GB of porn then copied it multiple times to a 320GB HDD I was selling, then defragged the drive and then deleted all the contents.

Seemed to work fine as recovery programs could not recover anything sensitive
