hehhehe well some of u already got issue 56 of cpc u might notice theres a article in combining windows with linux. any one try this with ubuntu yet? can they still use the 3d graphics? any bugs or negative effects in gamming?

3D graphics are slow using that method since the virtual machine does not sup[port hardware graphics acceleration. What it describes is a bit like coherence mode found in Parallels for Mac (and perhaps other platforms as well).

:O so u saying i cant install gpu drivers on virtual machines? ummm well i guess it can be still useful on a laptop for working but as for me i think i stick to xp for now..



but any one got a way around this so i can play xp games on linux with nice smoothe fps

unfortunately gaming is the main area that windows holds the upper hand, some games will run natively under linux (id/epic games generally) and these generally run very well, other games need to be run under wine/cedega and sometimes this manages to work at least, but windows is still better for that...
