3D graphics are slow using that method since the virtual machine does not sup[port hardware graphics acceleration. What it describes is a bit like coherence mode found in Parallels for Mac (and perhaps other platforms as well).

:O so u saying i cant install gpu drivers on virtual machines? ummm well i guess it can be still useful on a laptop for working :D but as for me i think i stick to xp for now..



but any one got a way around this so i can play xp games on linux with nice smoothe fps :D
 
unfortunately gaming is the main area that windows holds the upper hand, some games will run natively under linux (id/epic games generally) and these generally run very well, other games need to be run under wine/cedega and sometimes this manages to work at least, but windows is still better for that...
