DC++ and Vista

I’ve downloaded the latest version of Vista and installed as a dual boot system with XP Pro.

I installed DC++ on Vista but when I go in to settings I can’t select “Firewall with UPnP” because it’s greyed out. I checking windows help and followed the instructions and even opened a port for DC but still no joy.

I’m sure this is something to do with Vista because DC runs fine in XP.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Bit of an update.

I don't know why I didn't try this earlier but I disconnected my router and I can now download.

The problem is that I need the router connected.

have you tried enabling "show uPnP Devices" in My network Places?

The latest version supports uPnP with vista

WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 0.695:

* If you are using Windows Vista, you are now able to use UPnP.

Isn't DC supposed to notify me about new versions?
