DC2's

That's only part of the reason! :p

I don't get it, I can insure the BMW for £800...a 2.8l rwd death machine, but a 1.8l fwd car with VTEC Y0! costs £2k to insure. :confused:

its down to claim statistics

my vectra vxr slips under the radar insurance wise because very few vectras are VXRs, most are driven by mostly safe company car drivers and rep mobiles etc.. so have comparatively low claim statistics.

Unlike the astra VXR, which despite being slower was more expensive for me to insure !

Bell only list imports...

I fail at VTEC. :(

Never figured why S2000 insurance is so much for some, cheap as chips for me!

* Awaits old man comments.......

i think if you're 19-28, the insurance tends to be high, since this is age group it's most owned by, and they have pretty high crash rates, they're awesome cars, but they do attract some bafoons at times :(

invader.. I rung Swinton and they put me through to a broker who thne put me onto Paragon, Adrain Flux and one or two others

I don't have the money for a DC2 even though I'd love to own one. :(

Not sure how much it'd be without my sister on the quotes, but you can guarantee that she saves me a few hundred £.

you tried sky?

very popular on itr-dc2, iirc they recently reviewed the DC2 prices as claims have fallen significantly as of late...
