DCS - P51D Mustang - Stunning Trailer

nice trailer but still don't get it ...

P51s against P51s ? don't see the point. Just as I would find A10s against A10s boring ... all the time ..

I'm also rather annoyed at the BS1>BS2 "upgrade" debarkle - but I still bought A10

btw on that note will BS1 work in DCS World ? or have any plans to ?

I'm worried about where DCS is going though - I bought A10 for the sheer quality of the flight model and on-board systems modelling, which I think is amazing

would not like to see DCS becoming similar to FSX with lots of 3rd party releases of various quality .... sorry

BS1 in DCS world , nope sorry you are screwed , you will have to buy the Black shark 2 patch.
Paying for patches is the new in thing ,
or buy the full version of "Black Shark 2 - the quest for more money"

full version £14.99 http://www.gamefly.co.uk/Download-DCS-Black-Shark-2-UK/5002374/

Something screwy with all this. To buy BS1 from DCS is $10, the upgrade $20, so that's $30 for the full product that they sell for $40. What have I misunderstood here

Of course that ignores the gamefly purchase that gets you a new BS2 for about the same as the DCS upgrade price, but I'm intrigued by DCS's pricing

I think the technical term for it is "extracting the urine"

If you can verify the Gamefly version is the Full version, just go with that I'd say.

Wow  what a great video. It got me to dust of the old Sidewinder 2 joystick and invest in some of these DCS thingies. Spent most of last night trying to figure out what on earth this DCS world was, how it fit in with Black Shark 1, Black Shark 2, A10-C, P-51 etc.

Finally got it all sussed and installed, if only I could figure out how to start the engines now :D although in free flight mode the P-51 rocks.

No info on a release date for the final product (They almost never give dates) but the Beta version, updated just last week is pretty solid. You can pre-purchase and get access to the Beta too, If you like.

Also you can Download the Main DCS program for free right now and fly about in the free Plane in that.
